Riegelein – throughout Europe!
Founded in 1953, the company’s headquarters are in Cadolzburg near Nuremberg. A total of 1600 staff members are employed in Cadolzburg and 6 other Locations.
In 1991, Saxony’s traditional chocolate factory Bergland was integrated into the Riegelein Group under the name Kathleen.
In 1995, the Czech site in Jablonec was acquired. During the same year, the Riegelein France subsidiary was established with headquarters in Paris.
In 2014, entry into online retail was made through the acquisition of a majority stake in chocri GmbH, based in Berlin. This integration was successfully completed in 2018 with the full takeover of all shares.
In 2019 the company Riegelein merged with Rübezahl Schokoladen.
